Nobody can keep God’s Law

How often do we hear this statement from so many various sources, so let us give this a reasonable shake and see what the Bible actually says about this.  For any deep Bible Students, they will instantly recognise this as Satan’s main insinuation, that God made rules that he was not even prepared to keep himself.  So God took the Test, and passed with flying colours.  We have this from 2 Corinthians 5:19 “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”

So at Calvary, Father and Son won easily, as quoted in 1 John 3:5 “And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.”  A study of “The Sanctuary Service” will quickly highlight that for a Sacrifice to be accepted, then it must be absolutely “Perfect,” and so was our Saviour for even at the end of the Crucifixion, even the Roman Centurion declared him perfect (Matthew 27:54.)

When we jump on down to the very last generation on Planet Earth, those Translated, we have this written about them as found in Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”  A few verses earlier we have this in Revelation 14:4-5 “These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, [being] the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.  And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.”

In Scripture, a Woman is often equated to a church (Jer 3:8, Jer 6:2, Hosea 4:15); but Rev 17:5 gives us a look at a very different type of Woman/System. So the redeemed are “Pure” and sinless.  Now sin is defined in scripture as in

1 John 3:4-6 “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.  Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.” Or we have this angle found in Revelation 7:14          “And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

Here we have sacrifice terminology, Hebrews 9:22 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”  So sin removal and white robes are interconnected, so somebody with a “White Robe” must therefore be “Sinless” and to be “Sinless” one must be a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ who himself is also a “Commandment Keeper.”  To break the Law is to sin, and sin is certainly not white, clean and pure, but the redeemed are pure and perfect.   Our Saviour Admonished us in Matthew 5:48 “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”

Now we have a choice to accept or to reject “Satan’s Charge,” that God’s requirements are far too high for anybody to ever keep.  Remember the list in Revelation 14:12, God has these successful redeemed people, so will you be one of them?   Here we are at the very end of time with 6000 years of sin and degradation built up on the Human Race, when the Human Race is so frail and weakened by sin and is now at its weakest point, which is really at the bottom of the barrel, but here we have a group of Commandment Keepers.

We have this statement in Romans 5:20 “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” so God stepped in and where sin was, God supplied way more, abundantly more resources to help the tempted to overcome.  We have this admonition as found in 1 Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].”

God has set up an easy escape path from sin, God has supplied way more resources than the temptation has power, so we can always be victorious and winners every time, and so says the Redeemed of the last generation, as they use God’s Resources and not their own, it is in “God’s Strength” that they are over-comers, so how about you, are you over-coming and living a sinless life, representing Jesus Christ, or looking like and living like the enemy of souls, Satan?

Redeemed sinners (those who by the power of Christ Jesus gave up sinning) gain Heaven, while those who have sin still active in their lives are banished to destruction and turned to ashes (Mal 4:3), for they have the wages of sin upon themselves.  To play silly thoughts, if “The Law” was nailed to “The Cross,” as some people have suggested, then our Governments, Police, Judicial System and Armies are restricting us in stopping us and constraining us from killing, robbing and all that sort of stuff.  Prisons must therefore be instantly closed down and destroyed, everybody within must be released and never more should anybody be fined, arrested or incarcerated.

Would you ever support a “Political Party” trying to sweep into power with this as an agenda for all citizens to live by, and then find that every other country quickly follows suit, but the Law has been done away with, they cry, until they are robbed, family killed and mayhem is on the streets.  The world would collapse overnight, your business and employment would cease, shops would be instantly stripped of their stock and they could not afford to replace it and the manufacturers and suppliers, Farmers and Growers would stop instantly and cease to exist, and any warehouses storing food and supplies would be quickly robbed and stripped of their goods.  Now consider this, do you really actually want to believe that “The Law was nailed to the Cross?”

Satan wants to fool you so that he can take away your “Eternal Life,” so you have the power and choice to choose Jesus Christ, wash your robes white and to join the ranks of the Commandment Keepers; so will you?
