New Birth

To understand a “New Birth” we need to get deeply into the Old Testament, and especially into the Hebrew Mindset to get the very clearest of views, but then we are once more up against an impossibility, we are delving into something “Spiritual,” but fortunately for us, everything “Spiritual” has a companion “Physical and of this earth” that we can examine and prod and poke at, so that we can clearly conceptualize something that is “Heavenly.”  Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.  For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”  So how do we comprehend a “New Birth?”

Now a “New Birth” is best understood as “Marriage,” no not that corrupted and selfishness one that we often see, or the controlling and diminishing, spouse disrespecting one, but the wholesome and edifying one that exists in a “Heaven Based Relationship.”  So let us dive in and play with this concept.  Firstly we need to set up a few things to make this work properly, Satan is Male, Jesus Christ is Male, you are Female; it is the only way that Scripture can clearly represent this “New Birth.”

You are Married to Satan, either officially, or as a de-facto relationship, you and him have something going on, and the evidence is clearly seen in its sinfulness.  Now Satan has no rules to live by, pretty much anything goes, but Jesus Christ is controlled by Purity, Truth, and the Laws that pertain to Heaven.  Now one day you look at your life, its defilement, corruption, the abuse you experience regularly, and you want “Out.”  But then there is a problem, you see, Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  You are sold unto slavery and death, a one way street to perdition.

If you ever leave Satan and sin, you become and “Adulterer” and that is an instant “Death Sentence,” wages of sin; so you are trapped in a very bad relationship, and so was the whole world, trapped under the dictates of Satan and sin, doomed to extinction.  So what did Heaven do, well God the Father sent his one and only son to planet earth.  Satan was delighted, so he then put in place a plan to kill him, one less, and one step closer to control and dominion over the whole Universe, Isaiah 14:13-14 “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”  So he kills Jesus Christ on Calvary, rubs his hands in glee as he is so close to his goal, total dominion and control.  Tomb sealed, and an elite guard of soldiers posted, job done.

Then three days later, we have a Resurrection, and Jesus comes forth from the tomb.  Then he discovers this, Romans 9:22 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission [of sin].”  Now Satan has discovered that his plans did not take into account a “Sacrifice for Sin,” a way that God could annul, remove, purify a sinner, blot out all the transactions of evil, and make them pure and holy again.

Wicked new plan, control, keep them so engrossed that they never discover this solution.  But then again, Jesus is restricted in what he can do, if Jesus “Covets” you, well that is death to you both.  If Jesus marries you, that is “Adultery” and that is death.  You see the 2nd table of the Law, which covers “Inter Personal Relationships” keeps you locked into Satan and sin, doomed.

Then the critical factor; you are doomed to death in your current situation, move to Jesus and you are doomed to death.  Sin has you trapped, stuck in a bad relationship with no way out, but is that really true.  Marriage is “Until death do you part,” and that is the critical key.  Paul found it, and wrote, Romans 7:24-25 “O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”  1 Corinthians 15:30-31 “And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?  I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.”

Once you die, sin and Satan have no dominion or control over you, that contract has been torn up, it has no binding power over you.  The wages of sin is death, so bring it on, I will gladly die to sin, to anymore separation from Jesus Christ who loves me with a wholesome undying love.  Repentance, Restoration, Baptism which is [Spiritually] Dying with Jesus, Buried with him in the tomb (Under the water you no longer breathe) and then you are raised up to newness of life, fall into the arms of your Saviour, Redeemer, Friend, and Husband (Marriage Supper of the Lamb.)

Stay in your “New Birth” and new Husband Jesus Christ, led by the Spirit and cleansed by the blood, and sin has no dominion over you.  Satan can yell and scream as much as he wants, he can and get up to anything and everything, and boy he works every wonderfully and alluring seduction, to get you back, he is doomed to death and he wants so desperately to take you down with him.  2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” “In Christ” you have a “New Birth” and at the end of the age, a “New Body” and a “Face to Face” eternal relationship with Jesus, with God our Father, get to actually see, meet and hug the Holy Spirit, have communion with Angels, and all the Redeemed, to meet with the writers of the Bible, to never grow old, so let us immediately ditch Satan, sin and all that stuff, In Baptism die to sin, we are re-born to surrender all to Jesus Christ in newness of life, “New Birth.”  Jesus is waiting for you, so when will you make the move to a “New Life in Christ Jesus,” and that amazing “New Birth?”
