All things Become New

“Make Over” series are very popular on TV, we have people who get a “Make Over,” all new clothes, hair colored and styled, corrective dentistry, make-up and they then become almost unrecognizably different, “All things become New.”  We get houses that get renovated or a complete “Make Over,” we get lots of various presenters also doing Car “Make Overs,” and restorations, and we love to see the “Before” and then the “After,” that transformation which has taken place, that changes that have been wrought by the various specific very skilled artisans whose skills and abilities are clearly seen in the massive transformation wrought out.  2 Corinthians 5:17-18 “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;”

Proverbs 10:9 “He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.”  Proverbs 10:9 “Honest people can always feel secure, but lying cheaters will be caught out.”  Romans 12:9-21 “[Let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.  [Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.  Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.  Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that do weep.  [Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.  Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.  If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.  Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”   Let “All things become New.”

Psalm 51:10-12 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.  Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.  Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me [with thy] free spirit.”  1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  “All things become New.”

Here is a quote from Author, Brenda Walsh; “God values integrity.  He wants us to stand up for what we believe, no matter the cost!  The dictionary describes integrity as adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character.  But what does integrity mean to you?”  Are “All things becoming New” in your life, or are we just the same old, that same old crusty grump that people avoid or choose to spend minimal time around us?  Is this verse true?  John 5:42 “But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.”  Romans 5:5 “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”  Romans 8:39 “Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  1 John 2:5 “But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.”  1 John 3:16 “Hereby perceive we the love [of God], because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down [our] lives for the brethren.”  Jude 1:21 “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”  Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”  2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”  So are “All things Becoming New,” in your life right now?

Galatians 5:22-23 ERV “ But the fruit that the Spirit produces in a person’s life are; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these kinds of things.”  So are you and I “Growing up into the character and likeness of God?”  Why do we so quickly “resist the Holy Spirit,” stopping the “Fruit Growth,” when all Heaven is working to make, “All things become new.”  2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”  So are “All things Becoming New,” in your life right now?    Quote; “When a soul is truly converted, old habits and natural evil besetments are done away in Christ Jesus and all things become new. Among those who profess to be servants of Christ an earnest purpose should be cultivated, such as Daniel manifested in the courts of Babylon. He knew that God was his strength and his shield, his front guard and his rear guard. Amid the corruptions that surrounded him in the courts of Babylon he kept himself free from those sights and sounds which would allure him and draw him into temptation. When his duties required that he be present at scenes of revelry, intemperance, and basest idolatry, he cultivated the habit of silent prayer, and thus he was kept by the power of God. To have the mind uplifted to God will be a benefit in all times and in all places. {TMK 247}  Quote; “Under his [Jesus] constraining discipline, those old traits of character, that are not in conformity to the will of God, all pass away and the opposite take their place?  “A new heart will I give thee.” Have all things become new through your conversion to the Lord Jesus Christ?  {SpM 107}  Let Jesus make “All things Become New.”
