Imbedded Sin

There is something very interesting, and it is a tendency within us all, and we will use the “Computer Field” to develop this one, and that is the tendency of evil impulses and sinning, Lust, Evil Desires and Coveting.  In “Computers,” what is commonly known as “A Virus” which is a small bit of text that is dormant, and hidden within Programs, and is imbedded inside the programs Code, which at times can “Activate” and then all things head “West” in a very fast timeframe, that often end in “Disaster.”

Quote; “The apostle sought to teach the believers how important it is to keep the mind from wandering to forbidden themes or from spending its energies on trifling subjects. Those who would not fall a prey to Satan’s devices, must guard well the avenues of the soul; they must avoid reading, seeing, or hearing that which will suggest impure thoughts. The mind must not be left to dwell at random upon every subject that the enemy of souls may suggest. The heart must be faithfully sentineled, or evils without will awaken evils within, and the soul will wander in darkness. “Gird up the loins of your mind,” Peter wrote, “be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; . . . not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: but as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”  {AA 518}

Quote; “The satanic agencies are constantly at work, sowing and watering the seeds of rebellion against the law of God, and Satan is gathering souls under his black banner of revolt. He forms a confederacy with human beings to contend against purity and holiness. He has worked diligently, perseveringly, increasing the number who will confederate with him. By his representations he seeks to widen the distance between heaven and earth, and he grows into the conviction that he can wear out the patience of God, extinguish His love for man, and bring condemnation upon the whole human family.”  {4BC 1141}

Quote; “When God brings them over the ground again and again, as he did ancient Israel, to test and prove them, they fall as naturally as before into the same questioning and rebellion. So did ancient Israel. They did not take the reproving’s of God to heart, and greatly humble themselves before him, and make thorough work that needed to be repented of. When trials arise and the test comes close, it is revealed that the seeds of rebellion have not been killed but left to germinate and spring up again whenever a favourable opportunity offers.”  {PH104 5}

Quote; “It is a solemn thing to die, but a far more solemn thing to live. Every thought and word and deed of our lives will meet us again. What we make of ourselves in probationary time, that we must remain to all eternity. Death brings dissolution to the body, but makes no change in the character. The coming of Christ does not change our characters; it only fixes them forever beyond all change… awake, I beseech you, from the sleep of death. It is too late to devote the strength of brain, bone, and muscle to self-serving. Let not the last day find you destitute of heavenly treasure. Seek to push the triumphs of the cross, seek to enlighten souls, labour for the salvation of your fellow beings, and your work will abide the trying test of fire.  {5T 466}

1 Corinthians 3:12-14 “Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;  every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.  If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.”

Quote; “We are to be here only a little longer. Our citizenship is above. It will not unfit you for the earth to have a little more of heaven within; it will afford you more enjoyment here, but you must draw near to God, and throw open the doors of your heart and let the sunlight of heaven in. How necessary that we put away iniquity. If we ever indulge it in our hearts, God will leave us. We want to hate sin as the hateful thing that it is. We want that change of heart, that purity of life, that when the world sees us it will know that we are not of them. They will know that we are not like the world. Our business transactions and all our conduct will be ennobling. Friends, we need the converting power of God and His truth to light our hearts, that we may lead those who are around us to the light.  {2SAT 54}

 Dear Reader; We all suffer to some degree from the “Lusts of the Flesh;” that inherited and imbedded propensity to sin, when we see, think or hear things that awakens our imbedded evil desires.  Quote; “The heart must be faithfully sentineled, or evils without will awaken evils within, and the soul will wander in darkness.”  The wise Christian puts to death the flesh so that they can live a “Spirit Led Life.”  1 Corinthians 15:31 “I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.”   Paul knew that it was a constant battle with his fallen nature, it kept him doing things that his walk with GOD knew no compatibility, so he daily gave up the Flesh, to walk with GOD in the Holy Spirit.  Will you Daily resolve to remove “Imbedded Sin” and live a GOD based spiritual life?
