High Treason

In this Article we explore a bit into the depths of some of the statements made and alluded to in Scripture, and here we explore the concept of “High Treason.”  But what does that term actually mean?  High Treason is defined as; “the crime of betraying one’s country, especially by attempting to kill or overthrow the sovereign or government.”  If charged, then choose a “Civil Court” as a “Military Court” is not very friendly to all traitors and spy’s who sell out their own country to the enemy, which is really to Satan.  Quote; “Oh, that every member, every worker, might realize that this life is a school in which to prepare for examination by the God of heaven with regard to purity, cleanness of thought, unselfishness of action. Every word and act, every thought, is recorded on the record books of heaven.  {UL 138}

Quote; “The whole wicked world stand arraigned at the bar of God on the charge of high treason against the government of heaven. They have none to plead their cause; they are without excuse; and the sentence of eternal death is pronounced against them.  It is now evident to all that the wages of sin is not noble independence and eternal life, but slavery, ruin, and death.  The wicked see what they have forfeited by their life of rebellion. The far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory was despised when offered them; but how desirable it now appears. “All this,” cries the lost soul, “I might have had; but I chose to put these things far from me. Oh, strange infatuation! I have exchanged peace, happiness, and honour for wretchedness, infamy, and despair.” All see that their exclusion from heaven is just. By their lives they have declared: “We will not have this Man [Jesus] to reign over us.” {DD 55}

Matthew 25:41 “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”  Romans 14:10-12 “But why dost thou judge thy brother? Or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.  For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.  So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”  2 Corinthians 5:10-11 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.  Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”  Do anything and everything to avoid the charge of “High Treason against the Government of Heaven.”

Hebrews 10:30-31 “For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth] unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.  [It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”  Jesus talking of himself as the Judge of All at the Very Last Day, gave this warning in Matthew 21:43-44 “Therefore say I unto you, the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.  And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”  This has the same language as used in Daniel, from Daniel 2:31-35 “Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness [was] excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof [was] terrible.  This image’s head [was] of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.  Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet [that were] of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.  Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.”

You certainly do not want God to jump on you, as there is only dust left, or from Sodom and Gomorrah, there is only ash.  You see, the Monarch of Babylon (head of Gold) thought that his Kingdom would last forever, God told him to “think again,” so as we live under “Rome” domination, God is about to return, and at that time all the kingdoms of this Earth are to disappear, and then all who are charged with “High Treason against the Government of Heaven,” will also become dust, powder and ashes.

John 19:13-16 “When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.  “And it was the preparation of the Passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!  But they cried out, Away with [him], away with [him], crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.  Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led [him] away.”

So what is our reply to Pilate, a Roman Monarch?  “Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.”  If Caesar is your King, then you are going to be charged with, “High Treason against the Government of Heaven.”  Be faithful and then hear this announcement about you from Matthew 25:23 “His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”  Don’t ever become charged with, “High Treason against the Government of Heaven.”
