Eternal Life?
Here is a bit of what little we understand on this vast subject, John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” 1 Timothy 1:17 “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, [be] honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” John 1:4 “In him [Jesus] was life; and the life was the light of men.” 1 Corinthians 15:54 “So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality [Deathlessness], then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” Closely examining the words used; “Immortality” which is sourced only in “God the Father.” Jesus being one with God his Father, is immortal through his Father, so John 1:4 tells us that God alone is the source of life, and in him we all live and move and have our being [Acts 17:27.] God’s kids are his “Offspring,” branches on his Vine, Sheep in his flock, his children at the Banqueting Table. Revelation 20:14 “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” This tells us that “Eternity” has no death in it, wages of sin is death, so therefore we must have no more sin or sinning over there, just joy and peace and life, real life and real living, Godly Love everywhere.
Revelation 2:7 “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” Revelation 22:2 “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.” So the “Tree of Life” that used to reside in the midst of “The Garden of Eden,” must therefore now reside up in Heaven, it has 12 varieties of fruit, one variety each month, also there are 12 tribes, one fruit variety representing each tribe, and the leaves are for the “Healing of the Nations,” so those resurrected or translated at Jesus return shortly, will get to forever regularly feast upon the “Tree of Life,” and from its life giving properties, they have life ongoing by salvation in Jesus Christ, gifted from our Heavenly Father, and the leaves heal them of any ailments that may afflict them. How we use them, whether as a “Salad” or a “Poultice” Brewed as a “Cup-a-Tea” we are just going to have to be patient for a couple of more years, and then we can actually be there in reality, and partake of its life giving and healing properties.
Isaiah 11:5-9 “And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” Isaiah 66:22-23 “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, [that] from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.”
Revelation 21:1-8 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”Ephesians 5:1-7 “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.” Eternity is available to “God’s Kids,” why not become one right now, and forever stay true, and ever remain “God’s Kids,” from now and for all “Eternity,” Psalm 23:6 LXX “Thy mercy shall also follow me all the days of my life; and my dwelling shall be in the house of the Lord for a very long time.” Poem; “When you get to Heaven, Don’t stand around and stare, The people that you’re looking at, May wonder how you got there.”
