Starlink

There is now an advancement from the “Cell Phone” to a “Sat Phone,” those are special cellphones that you can use anywhere on the planet, as they talk directly up into outer space and that’s where a satellite collects the call, and then beams it straight back down to earth to the network and then on to the very person that you want to talk to.  Now the latest product being marketed is branded as ‘Starlink,’ which connects you via Satellite back to the ‘Internet’ in the sky, to anything you ever want to view, surf, explore, email, text, talk, tweet, upload and download from, for now everything is just at a ‘click of a button,’ a ‘tap of a mouse,’ anywhere on planet earth, as you are always connected everywhere via a satellite 24/7, nowhere is too remote, you are connected everywhere.  Quote; “Above the distractions of the earth He sits enthroned; all things are open to His divine survey; and from His great and calm eternity He orders that which His providence sees best.” {FLB 42} So to put a “Spiritual Spin” on this concept, then God is the ‘Super Satellite’ that is connected to every being in this vast universe, as well as to every single person living on this planet, and you do not need an expensive monthly ‘Plan,’ nor do you even need a satellite dish and receiver, you just reach out to him by Prayer, just talk to him as a friend, his ear is always open, he is always ‘On Line’ and it is totally free, thus he is always very near.   Quote; “Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend. Not that it is necessary in order to make known to God what we are, but in order to enable us to receive Him. Prayer does not bring God down to us, but brings us up to Him. {CSA 26}

1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 “Rejoice evermore.  Pray without ceasing.” With the concept of a “Starlink,” then God would like us to be ‘On Line’ 24/7 so that he can freely talk to you at any time of the night or day, “Pray without ceasing,” and if you are not powered up and on line, then it makes it so much harder and so much more difficult for the messages to ever get through.  Why do we not ‘Link with the Stars?’  John 1:3-4 “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”  Jesus is the “Creator” of ‘All Things,’ visible and invisible, suns, moons, stars, even human beings, who he made in his very image and likeness, sort of Jesus is the ‘Pearl of Great Price,’ so he could also be the ‘Star above all stars’ so let us ‘Link’ with him, locate and lock onto Jesus, and be forever connected to him and ‘On Line,’ 24/7, linked to the living God who lives and reigns from his throne situated far above the stars.

But have you ever asked God how he felt about things, how are you handling all this death, disaster, pain, crying and dying?  God sees everything, Hebrews 4:15 “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.”  We are “Starlinked” to far beyond the stars, God feels and God cries over us, our joys and sorrows touch his heart, Zephaniah 3:17 “The LORD thy God in the midst of thee [is] mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.”  God laughs with us at our pleasures, cries with us at our sorrow, rejoices, jumping off his throne and does a wee little dance or jig in a tight circle in joyous exuberant enthusiasm when you turn to him and overcome.

Robert Bakke once wrote this; Quote; “God is right, I never asked God how he is doing.  Nobody does.  Have you?.. “You know God, you’re right.  We never ask about you.  How are you doing? I mean really, you do so much for us.  You’ve given us all that we have, and all that we will ever have.  That’s a lot.  Do you ever get tired?  I mean, you created the earth, the planets, the solar systems, and we know you are expanding the universe at this very moment.  You must get tired, don’t you?  You must get tired because on the seventh day, you rested.  You do so much for us Father.  More than we can even imagine.  And you gave us your Son.”  A pause of silence… then came the words: “I-Watched-Him-Die…” “I watched him die, for you.  And still legions of people turn their backs Me.”  Why did God say this? Because it is true!    There is no cliché that cuts deeper than the scripture found in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Son, so that everybody who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.  We’ve recited those words so often that most people, even Christians, have lost total appreciation for the meaning behind them.  We’ve all lost total appreciation for the meaning behind them.  We’ve also never stopped to consider the pain God endured as He watched His Son being beaten, tortured and killed, For Us.  God could have stopped the beating, ending the pain for His Son, and for Himself.  But He didn’t!  He endured all that pain, for you. {End}Have you become more aware of God, his boundless and fathomless love for you and me?  Then “Starlink” to him right now, come right in before him with confession and repentance, come before him with praise and adoration, sing unto the Lord, God will join in and sing along with you, talk to God, tell him all that is in your heart, let God chatter back, ask him “How are you doing this evening?”  Stop, pause, then clamber up on his knees, hold him close and listen to that lovely rhythmic beating of his heart, feel his tenderness and compassion for you as his arms encircle and enclose you, having a snooze cradled in his loving arms, God is real, his tenderness and compassion towards us is real, time and space are no barriers to him, “Starlink” to God right now, and stay online always, “Pray without ceasing.”
