This phrase has become so common in our everyday daily lives, it is attached to just about every transaction we ever make, and when we open the ‘Terms and Conditions,’ it goes on and on for pages, and probably even a smart Lawyer would still have trouble making any sense of it at all, it appears that the company is thus protected against all and every conceivable event, and you will have to pay all the penalties.  When one gets married, even the Bride and Groom go through a sometimes-long list of; “Agree to the Terms and Conditions,” but when we come to God, and we are accepted into his Family, God bundles all the ‘Terms and Conditions’ into one word, “Love.”  Very simple, very easily understood, very compassionate and endearing, but this ‘Relationship Contract,’ also asks us to read and to abide by, and to “Agree to the Terms and Conditions” as well, total loyalty and devotion.  Exodus 20:6 “And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”  John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” Psalm 119:96 “I have seen an end of all perfection: [but] thy commandment [is] exceeding broad.”  Romans 13:10 “Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law.”  Its all in ‘The Terms and Conditions.’

Baptism; Romans 6:3-4 “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Thus, also in this case we find that we need to “Agree to the Terms and Conditions” that ‘Baptism’ means death, death to ‘Self,’ and in essence being ‘Crucified with Christ,’ Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”  Therefore your ‘New Life,’ is Christlike, God-Likeness, you were crucified, killed, no longer live, Baptism kills you, but you trade in a broken faulty life for an amazing complete and whole one “In Christ,’ you just need to “Agree to the Terms and Conditions.”  Quote; “Baptism is a most solemn renunciation of the world. Self is by profession dead to a life of sin. The waters cover the candidate, and in the presence of the whole heavenly universe the mutual pledge is made. In the name of the Father, and Son, and the Holy Spirit, man is laid in his watery grave, buried with Christ in baptism, and raised from the water to live the new life of loyalty to God. The three great powers in heaven are witnesses; they are invisible, but present.” {FLB 146} Quote; “All who enter upon the new life should understand, prior to their baptism, that the Lord requires the undivided affections . . .The practicing of the truth is essential. The bearing of fruit testifies to the character of the tree…. There is need of a thorough conversion to the truth.”  {FLB 147}   Its all in ‘The Terms and Conditions.’

Adoption; Romans 8:15 “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”  You just need to “Agree to the Terms and Conditions,” your familial bonds are severed, Luke 11:2 “And he said unto them, when ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.”  You are ‘Adopted,’ you have new parents, a new home, new brothers and sister, Jesus is your ‘Elder Brother,’ you have a ‘Big Brother,’ a “Kinsman Redeemer,” who will move heaven and earth for you, protects you from everything, “but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father,” Romans 8:15.  Galatians 3:29 “And if ye [be] Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”  It is all there written down, you therefore “Agree to the terms and Conditions.”

Marriage; Quote; “If we are true to our vow, there is opened to us a door of communication with heaven–a door that no human hand or satanic agency can close.” {FLB 147} Quote [Adapted] “All who enter upon the new life should understand, prior to their baptism (union with Christ, that is marriage to Christ), that the Lord requires the undivided affections . . .The practicing of the truth is essential. The bearing of fruit testifies to the character of the tree…. There is need of a thorough conversion to the truth. {FLB 147} Genesis 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”  John 17:11 “And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we [are].”  God’s Kids are one with God, One Flesh, which is ‘Marriage Language and Concepts,’ Galatians 3:29 “And if ye [be] Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”  Ezekiel 16:8 “Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time [was] the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.”  Jeremiah 3:14 “Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:” 2 Corinthians 11:2 “For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present [you as] a chaste virgin to Christ.”  Exodus 20:3 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”  Purity to your ‘Spouse,’ which is also God, you therefore “Agree to the terms and Conditions.”

New Life; 2 Peter 1:4-8 “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  Isaiah 43:7 “[Even] every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.”  Quote; “It is the privilege and the duty of every Christian to have a rich and abundant experience in the things of God. “I am the light of the world,” said Jesus. “He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12 . . . Every step of faith and obedience brings the soul into closer connection with the Light of the world, in whom there “is no darkness at all.” {FLB 148} Isaiah 43:4 “Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.”  Quote; “But while we are capable of advancing in knowledge and truth, let us not lose sight of the fact that we can go backward as well as forward. We may go earthward as well as heavenward. There are many souls who are balancing between the heavenward and the hellward course.” {CSW 50} In our ‘Daily Lives,’ we can ‘Reject God’s Compassionate leading,’ or we can accept God fully, unconditionally and completely, and “Agree to the Terms and Conditions” for a very long and very a fruitful Heavenly styled Life, both right now and onwards forever, for I therefore “Agree to the Terms and Conditions.”
